We Are Legion! Black Legion Supplement thoughts

Its been just over a week after the Traitor Legions Supplement has dropped and I have had time to mull over the changes and extras inside the book. I would like to give my thoughts on each of the legions through several posts and the new units available to Chaos Space Marines from a competitive perspective. Each supplement offers extra special rules and changes that improve current list builds and hopefully creates a few new ones. I am being optimistic here, so it probably will not last long.
Black Legion:
Home of the Cabal, the Black Legion supplement is highly used already within the competitive scene but what has changed?
First, Veterans of the Long War is free so each sorcerer doesn't have to pay an extra 5 points each, bargain. They also get continuous hatred against Armies of the Imperium, allowing the sorcerers to work better in combat against other Imperial players, Knights come to mind as something you want re-rolls every turn.
Down sides to this is that you cannot piggy back Cypher on the end of this formation any more, you would need a universal CAD as black legion detachments can only include Abaddon as the unique Character.

Another major change with Black Legion is that Terminators are now classed as troops choices instead of elites, so CAD terminator spamming might become a thing, it's easy to fit in 50 or so terminators in an 1850 army when you include a Terminator Annihilation Force. All the Warlord Traits are meh to be honest, moving on.

The Black Legion Decurion does offer some interesting choices, the main benefit of the Black Legion Decurion is first turn deepstrike for all Deepstriking reserves on a 3+ and the Warlords unit can pass for free, Pretty sweet. Means that the Annihilation force and the Raptor Talon can be used Turn 1, but you do have to folk out for a Hounds of Abaddon formation or a Warband. I would say go with The Hounds of Abaddon, it's cheaper and you get MoK for free with the Raptors in for extra deepstriking units. Some tournaments don't allow duplicate detachments so a Chosen of Abaddon formation would easily bolster the Decurion deep striking numbers, the Cabal could also join too.

Food for thought.
There could be some Aggressive Alpha strike play with something built around this, however Tau can be a bitch of a problem with the Intercept and seen as though everything is playing off a 1st turn deep strike you could end up being tabled before you have a turn, also with no reductions to your deep strike scatter there always be incidents. Bunker with Comms sounds standard. Who's ready to buy Terminators?
